CTA line play-start rate
Sessions shown the CTA line → sessions that played (shipped label, former A/B closed).
Returning listeners
The returning tripwire: the share of plays coming from browsers that have been here before. The first signal that distribution is bringing people back.
Returning rate by partner
Tagged plays only: which ally-sent visitors come back.
Press downloads
Completed transfers from the open press pack. No identity or attribution attached.
Wrap image shares
Images shared from the /wrap page. One counter per share, no identity or attribution.
Partner attribution
Plays tagged by community: which ally sent which plays. First touch per tab, we count plays not clicks.
Other sources
No attributed plays yet: a partner needs to share their tagged link first.
Activation and return cohorts
The signal that precedes the tripwire: activation = first plays on visit 2 ÷ first plays on visit 1. Each visit counts at most once, so a binge session can't skew the rate. Measured only on plays carrying a visit number and the first-play marker.
First plays by visit number
Activation trend
The activation rate (first plays on visit 2 ÷ first plays on visit 1) week over week. A leading signal for the returning tripwire.
Onboarding funnel
Conversion rate from first click to second play (hero-nonce sessions only).
Time to first sound
Time between the main CTA click and the first sound, measured between the click and the audio 'playing' event. Only CTA-started plays count; shorter is faster.
Listener reactions
One tap per session, after the 2nd play: the share of positive reactions, per track.
Listening signals
The post-reaction feedback themes and the privacy-page read correlation: the first-party surface that can move the privacy-conscious listener persona from hypothesis to proof.
